[rtl]It is hoped that the Council of Ministers will vote during its extraordinary session today, Sunday, on the budget schedules for the year 2024, to be sent to Parliament during the current week and reviewed by the Finance Committee.[/rtl]
[rtl]A member of the Finance Committee, Moeen Al-Kazemi, said in an interview followed by Al-Eqtisad News, “The Council of Ministers will vote today on the budget schedules, and then they will be sent to Parliament within a week,” indicating that “these schedules included an addition to the upper spending ceiling, which amounted to 226 trillion dinars.” There was a measure to reduce these agreements and they returned again to 210 trillion dinars, compared to last year, which was 199 trillion dinars.[/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "The operating budget has increased significantly, and therefore it will be the duty of the Finance Committee of the House of Representatives to review it, make observations, and mature it, so that it can be approved under the dome of Parliament," expecting that "Parliament will take a month to pass the 2024 budget schedules."[/rtl]
