    A security source reported, on Tuesday, new details about the arrest of an “Egyptian thug” after carrying out a massacre against four Egyptian workers in Basra Governorate.[/size]
    [size=45]The source said, “The arrest of the Egyptian accused took place at dawn on Monday, in the Doura area, Al-Sahha neighborhood, through the Third Mechanized Brigade of the Federal Police, and a detachment from the Regiment’s Intelligence with the Doura Intelligence Department.”[/size]
    [size=45]Regarding the Egyptian defendant, the source said that his name is “Abdul Latif Abdullah Abdul Latif Abdullah, born in 1978.”[/size]
    [size=45]He is of Egyptian nationality and was handed over to the Special Investigative Committee.”[/size]
    [size=45]The Basra Governorate Police revealed the details of the incident in a statement that they had received notification of the presence of dismembered body parts of people thrown in two waste dumps in the areas of Al-Tuwaisa and Dur Al-Naft. The Governorate Police, by supporting the intelligence effort, began taking the necessary measures, and through field follow-up and technical work, they found evidence related to the murder. Among them are (blood-stained clothes, a hammer, a knife, and hair residue).”[/size]
    [size=45]The statement added: “The police forces began expanding their scope of work, and after collecting information and its clips, it became clear to them that there were four people with Egyptian nationality missing, according to what was reported by the Egyptian Consulate in Basra, as they were working in the houses under construction.”[/size]
    [size=45]She continued: “After careful investigation and police work, the perpetrator was found and arrested after he fled to Baghdad Governorate. It was found that he also had Egyptian citizenship. He confessed to killing these four and dismembering their bodies and distributing them in different areas in the center of the city of Basra.”[/size]
