[rtl]Baghdad Provincial Council confirmed that there is a noticeable development in the urban reality in the capital, while revealing the suffering that the people of Baghdad are complaining about.[/rtl]
[rtl]Council member Nora Al-Jahishi said, "The capital, Baghdad, is witnessing remarkable urban and building development," noting that "there is great development in this aspect of the level of services, as well as interest in the roads and bridges file, and this matter is clear to everyone."[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Jahishi explained that “what the capital is complaining about in terms of poor service is specifically related to the electricity file. There is a decline in this file and there is no improvement in it despite all the promises. There is also poor service in the water file. There are areas within the capital that suffer from water scarcity and water cuts for very long hours. This file is an indicator for us and financial allocations have been made to develop water networks in the capital’s various areas.”[/rtl]
[rtl]The capital Baghdad is witnessing large investments in infrastructure, high-rise buildings, roads and investment residential complexes. However, infrastructure services still suffer from major problems, including electricity, sewage, water and roads. According to specialists, this is due to the fact that these services are funded by the state and do not have financial returns, as is the case with investment buildings that the investor builds and expects financial returns from which there is profit.[/rtl]
