    Economy News - Baghdad
Member of the Parliamentary Energy Committee, Mansour Al-Marid, said that Iraq has paid all its dues for the value of gas imported from Iran, and that the paid funds are deposited in the credit fund at the Trade Bank of Iraq.
Al-Marid said, "There are no debts or dues owed to the Iranian side by Iraq regarding Iranian gas."
He added, "The reason for the shortage of electricity supply hours is the decline in gas during the peak summer loads, in addition to the increase in consumption, high temperatures, pressure on the electrical system, and other technical problems."
