[size=45]The Agriculture and Water Committee in the House of Representatives confirmed the continued risk of Iraq being exposed to a water crisis in the coming months.[/size]
[size=45]Committee member Thaer Al-Jubouri said, “The recent waves of rain that the country witnessed contributed to the rise in water levels, but that does not mean that Iraq is out of the water danger zone.”[/size]
[size=45]He stressed the "necessity of working to find objective solutions that provide at least the minimum amount of water, whether for irrigation or for watering orchards."[/size]
[size=45]Al-Jubouri added, "The water file represents a top priority for Iraq, especially after the suffering of the past years and the harsh consequences of drought."[/size]
