Today, Tuesday, the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, formed an investigative council to investigate the circumstances of an officer in the Border Guard Command setting himself on fire.
An informed source told Mawazine News, "The Minister of Interior formed an investigative council to investigate the circumstances of an officer in the Border Forces Command setting himself on fire and is following up on the progress of the investigation into this incident."
Social media circulated a video clip of an officer saying that he set himself on fire due to pressure from the leadership.
