Member of Parliament Sherif Suleiman said on Wednesday that the retirement law and the salaries file are before the parliamentary committees amid calls to amend many of the current laws.
In an interview with Al-Sabah, which was followed by Al-Eqtisad News, Suleiman said that “Parliament is moving towards approving important laws,” noting that “among the important laws that Parliament seeks to approve are the Oil and Gas Law and the Federal Court Law.”
He added, "There are other laws before the parliamentary committees, some of which relate to retirement and salaries, and others pertain to security institutions.
