Iranian Deputy Interior Minister and Head of the Arbaeen Committee, Majid Mirahmadi, confirmed that we have reached an agreement with the Iraqi side to issue the Arbaeen visit passport at a cost of 650, equivalent to 20 thousand Iraqi dinars.
Mirahmadi said in a statement to the Iranian media, "All possible facilities have been considered for foreign citizens, and rest areas, reception convoys, health and treatment services will be provided in a decent manner during the journey of these dear ones through Iran."
He pointed out that "the issue of resident and non-resident foreign visitors was discussed in this meeting, and he continued: Non-resident visitors who enter the country from Afghanistan, Pakistan and other places will head to Iraq from attractive borders."
He explained that "the important issue for these visitors is the issue of transportation, which was emphasized in this meeting so that Pakistani visitors would enter Iran on their own buses."
Regarding foreign visitors residing in Iraq, Mirahmadi said: “These people can apply for their legal passports to enter Iraq from the “Sand Khadem” website announced by the Internal Security Forces and receive these documents through the sponsorship offices.”
He stressed that "we have reached an agreement with the Iraqi side regarding the Arbaeen visit passport, and it will be issued quickly at a cost of 650 thousand riyals."
