[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Chairman of the Federal Integrity Commission, Mohammed Ali Al-Lami, stressed the necessity of combining the efforts of state institutions to prevent and combat corruption, and to strive diligently to recover smuggled corruption proceeds, in addition to focusing on preventive and educational methods to prevent corruption and spread the culture of integrity and consolidate it among society.
During his reception of the Governor of the Central Bank, Ali Al-Alaq, according to a statement by the Commission, Al-Lami indicated the determination to continue efforts to combat corruption and prosecute its perpetrators, noting: "Corruption hinders reconstruction, development and investment operations and contributes to the decline of services provided to citizens.
The two parties agreed to intensify levels of cooperation and coordination between the Commission and the Central Bank, especially in the file of money laundering and smuggling, noting the sanctity and inviolability of public money, and the importance of redoubling efforts to preserve it, and recover what was stolen, embezzled and smuggled out of the country. / End9 [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.][/rtl]
