[ltr] (Independent) .. chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for example, has typically Nuri Shaways first meeting of the Economic Commission for the private sector in the presence of ministers (finance, industry, minerals, trade, and agriculture) and head of the investment and economic and legal adviser to the Prime Minister and Chairman of the Securities Commission and representatives of the Iraqi Federation of Industries and the Association of Iraqi banks and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and the Confederation of Businessmen and the National Business Council of Iraq and the Iraqi peasant associations and the Association of Iraqi economists and the Federation of Iraqi contractors.[/ltr]
[ltr] A statement from Shaways's office said the meeting comes in order to give the private sector role in the advancement of the Iraqi economy and participate in the reconstruction and encourage investment for all sectors and not to rely entirely on the state budget, especially as she is suffering from a deficit in recent times and stay away as much as possible from dependence on a single supplier and direction to activate the capital and investment potential of the private sector.[/ltr]
[ltr] He felt the Economic Commission for the private sector to begin to hold meetings to discuss the problems and obstacles facing this important sector to be involved in making the road map for the advancement of the Iraqi economy and participation in economic decision-making process along with the federal government. [/ltr]
