Iraq: International Monetary Fund (IMF) 'optimistic'

Welcomed «IMF yesterday, accelerating the pace of growth in Iraq thanks to oil exports, but expressed concern about the points« accumulated structural weaknesses in the country, ten years after the U.S. invasion.
He «Fund, in a statement published at the end of the mission in Iraq, that« despite security and political environment difficult, Iraq succeeded in maintaining the stability in terms of economic sectors in the last two years.
And after he scored «about 8 percent in 2012, economic growth will see a greater acceleration Iraqi this year, for up to 9 percent, driven by b« escalating capacity oil production, according to the 'Fund'.

He also called for strengthening of financial control mechanisms in order to ensure that oil revenues are used «effectively and in a transparent manner.
Furthermore, five people were killed yesterday, including the commander of the awakening village north of Baghdad Republic and two of his sons in separate attacks, according to security sources and medical.
He said a police officer in Dujail «unidentified gunmen assassinated Hussein Musleh commander awakening village south of the Republic of Dujail, and two of his sons. He added that «the three attackers assassinated this morning (yesterday) near his home in the center of the village.
