Ramadi (NINA) - Emir of Dulaim Tribes, Sheikh Ali Hatim al-Sulayman,
said that protestors in Anbar have replaced their demands with only one
demand, which is to topple Maliki's Government.
In a speech at
the sit-in square on Tuesday, Apr. 23, al- Sulayman said that Army
Commander, Ali Ghaidan, will have a difficult time in being held
answerable to the Iraqi people for the crime against humanity he has
committed.
Al- Sulayman called on tribes in Anbar and other Iraqi
provinces to carry arms for defending themselves and the Army is to
choose between either to stay in its barracks, or join the protestors or
it has to leave the province.
He added, "We will not be
responsible for the military forces' movements and interference in the
cities and towns of Anbar, because there are people demanding for the
blood of their sons killed in cold blood by the military. / End.
