15/06/2013 21:26:00 Baghdad (NINA) – Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki asserted that the Government has worked hard to fulfill the legitimate demands of the protestors, and has acheived many of them.
Meeting on Saturday, June 15, with a delegation of Anbar's tribal chiefs, Maliki pointed out that the Council of Ministers has approved amendment of the Justice and Accountability Law and the Secret Informer, affirming readiness to enact other laws, the protestors have demanded, which are being studied by concerned committees.
Maliki explained to the tribal delegation Iraq's current situation and its reflection on the area; he asserted that the Government does not allow the balance, with the state's departments, be tilted toward provinces on the account of others, as well as fair distribution of funds between provinces. / End.
