    6:12:02 4/6/2016 |(Voice ofIraq) - Erbilannounced the British ambassador to Baghdad, Frank Baker, the allocation of his government two million pounds to help Iraq in clearing improvised explosive devices from areas that are retrieved from thecontrol of the"Islamic state" Daash.Baker said in a statement: "I am pleased to announced that it hasbeen allocated two million eight hundred and sixty thousand dollars to support theIraqi government and theUnited Nations to remove IEDs quickly in the areas liberated from al Daash, as soon as possible. "the ambassador added that" Daash deliberately planting explosive devices in the liberated areas to cause maximum damage on civilians and prevent them from returning to their homes ,"noting that" locating improvised explosive devices and remove them, are critical steps toward making theliberated areas safe for the return offamilies to it. " He continued, that thefinancial assistance" allow Iraqi authorities tobegin public infrastructure repair and restart thelocal economy and rebuild livelihoods ", adding that" 90% of thepeople ofTikrit (Salahuddin) province, can now return to their homes.
