    {Baghdad:
    Euphrates news} concluded the Iraqi national investment Commission with
    the Egyptian Ministry of investment, an agreement to encourage and
    protect investment between Egypt and Iraq and supporting technical
    cooperation and investment between them and encourage entrepreneurs to
    establish joint development projects.

    According to a statement by
    the Iraqi national investment Commission received {forat news} copy
    that "the Egyptian side was represented at the meeting held between the
    two sides in the Egyptian capital of Cairo investment Minister Osama
    Abdel Moneim Saleh, Chairman of the General Authority for investment and
    free zones, such as Iraq, former head of Iraq's national investment
    Commission, Dr. Sami Al-araji, the meeting was attended by the President
    of the International Federation of businessmen in Iraq prison and Dr.
    Hamid, President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce khudair
    al-Hamdani, a number of Iraqi businessmen."

    agreement between the Egyptian Ministry of investment and the Iraqi

    mutual investments, and encourage investors to inject more investments
    and projects in a market governed by regulations and legislation
    conducive to investment."

    "The Iraqi and Egyptian sides have
    started to discuss the possibility of further joint investments, and
    take advantage of the prospects and investment schemes and the current
    development in Iraq, which boils down the industrial zone project

    and electromechanical industries, which is expected to be of Egyptian
    investment experience, participation by housing projects for middle and
    low income".

    "The Iraqi side stressed the need to draw on the
    expertise of the Egyptian side and the Egyptian real estate investors in

    of the Shatt al-Arab in Basra governorate, Iraqi officials asked
    outsourcing companies for the development and the tourist and
    development projects, as well as the proposed cooperation between the
    two chemical companies in the manufacturing of medicine, so as to meet
    the needs of the market."

    And he said Egyptian investment
    Minister Osama Abdel Moneim Saleh, Chairman of the General Authority for
    investment during his speech at the signing ceremony of the "the
    importance of the agreements on the protection and promotion of
    investments as one of the tools the Organization of promotional
    mechanisms and economic relations", "Ministry of investment represented
    by the General Assembly, to review and evaluate the agreements and
    memorandums of understanding between all entities and investment and
    economic entities in the world, continuously, in order to further

    The Iraq and
    Egypt signed on 12/8/2009 in Baghdad a memorandum of understanding for
    technical cooperation and investment between the two countries,
    resulting in the General Authority for investment and free zones,
    arrange three official visits of delegations of Egyptian businessmen
    with business, public and private, to Iraq, in addition to overseeing
    the signing 10 memoranda of understanding and the number 2 commercial
    agency between Egyptian companies, private as well as government
    agencies and their counterparts from the Iraqi side, as well as
    arranging meetings for fifteen A delegation of politicians and
    representatives of government agencies and the private sector in the
    Republic of Iraq to visit Egypt, and access to investment opportunities
    and mechanisms for bilateral cooperation in the field.Finished
