[ltr]Instructed Oil Minister Ali Jabbar and coffee, Saturday, the South Oil Company to invite specialized international companies to implement a project of seawater card five million barrels per day.[/ltr]
[ltr]According to a ministry statement, / balances News / received a copy of it, "Oil Minister Ali Jabbar Laibi chaired a meeting today to discuss the production plan for 2017, in the presence of deputy ministers and directors general of the oil companies and formations."[/ltr]
[ltr]He Laibi according to the statement that "the face of the South Oil Company to invite specialized to carry sea water project international companies a strategic vital projects important to sustain the development of oil fields in southern Iraq projects and card five million barrels per day, and is implemented in two stages and by 2.5 million barrels per phase" .[/ltr]
[ltr]He added that "This project includes the implementation of systems and treatment plants, as well as D pipeline networks to transport seawater from the Gulf to most of the oil fields in southern Iraq, Basra, Maysan, Dhi Qar."[/ltr]
[ltr]For his part, he said ministry spokesman Assem Jihad said the "technical and economic studies and designs for the project of sea water has been prepared by a specialized international companies."[/ltr]
[ltr]He pointed out that "This project is an important strategic projects that will put an end to the problem of water shortage in the oil fields and through the provision of the necessary amounts of water for the purposes of water injected into oil fields as well as to meet other industrial needs and to achieve smooth high in the perpetuation of the national production of crude oil." .anthy 29/33 h[/ltr]
