    The newspaper "Okaz" Saudi Arabia said on Monday that Jordan has refused to respond to the Iraqi request to hand over former Iraqi official convicted of embezzling billion dollars from the Defense Ministry, was detained by authorities at the Queen Alia International Airport when trying to enter Jordan on the basis of an arrest warrant from Interpol.
    The newspaper quoted at issue today, for Jordanian sources, said that the accused Ziad Tariq Abdullah Kattan arrest, came at the request of Interpol, and thus the Jordanian authorities accused will be handed over to Interpol and not the Iraqi authorities.
    The Jordanian media have reported a few days ago that the country's security authorities have arrested an Arab government official nationality had stolen from his billion US dollars.
    Revealed recovery circuit in the Integrity Commission on Thursday for the name of the Iraqi detainee by the Jordanian authorities, while announced that the convicted (Ziad Tareq Abdullah Al-Qattan), former Deputy Secretary-General of the Iraqi Defense Ministry, calling on the authorities in Amman to hand him over to Baghdad.
    It is noteworthy that the convicted (Ziad Tariq Qattan) had ascended several acting positions in the Iraqi Ministry of Defense in the interim government for the duration of the (June 28, 2004 and up to the third of June 2005), including the posts of Deputy Secretary-General and Director General of the Department of arming, equipping, and Iraqi courts issued against him in absentia of several prison sentences and imprisonment of up to more than 180 years.
    The office of the Arab and International Police Department (Interpol / Oman) announced late last month the arrest of (Arabic is accused of embezzling nearly one billion dollars) and that contacts had been made with the student by the state, in order to consider the request extradition.
    It is worth mentioning that the first session of the Conference of States Parties to the Arab Convention for the Suppression held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League corruption in Cairo December 27, 2015 was the highlight of outputs facilitate the exchange of information among States Parties and ways to recover the looted money and accused of corruption.
