The Ministry of Trade will hold the first national conference to support the private sector in the country early next month.
Director of the Private Sector Development Department at the Ministry, Ibtihal Hashim, told Al-Sabah: “Her department is preparing to hold the first national conference for the private sector, which aims to advance the economy on October 5, with the attendance of major local and international entities, and figures from the private sector, unions and syndicates.” She added that “the conference’s dialogue sessions will discuss and raise the problems and obstacles facing the work of the private sector, in order to find appropriate solutions for them. The conference will also include the signing of memoranda of understanding and cooperation agreements with international figures, businessmen, organizations and syndicates.”
