Independent MP Hadi Al-Salami held Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani responsible for withdrawing important laws from the House of Representatives, most notably the retirement law, on Wednesday.
Al-Salami told Al-Maalouma Agency, "The Prime Minister pledged before the House of Representatives to send important laws to implement his government program."
He added, "The most prominent laws that are supposed to be sent to the House of Representatives are the Oil and Gas Bill, the Civil Service Bill (salary scale), and the Federal Council Bill."
He pointed out that "there are laws that were withdrawn from the government and were not returned to the House of Representatives, most notably the retirement law, which is considered one of the important laws."
He considered that the Prime Minister bears responsibility for obstructing important laws. End / 25H
