    The Transport Ministry will receive next week the first Boeing aircraft within a plane with 45 processing cost up to 4 billion dollars, with plans to contract with a French company to supply three surveillance radar at a cost of 32 billion dinars for the purpose of air traffic control throughout the country.

    Technical agent for the Department of transportation told rikani banks (News Centre for the Iraqi media network): it is hoped that the arrival of the first Boeing 737/800 capacity of 180 passengers since 2008 contract with Boeing for the purchase of 45 aircraft for Iraqi Airways, which has stopped the contract due to the lawsuit for Kuwait Airways, which resumed its work after the settlement of this file.

    Rikani pointed out that the number of aircraft would enhance the Iraqi Airways fleet of modern aircraft which will contribute to the self-sufficiency of the number of aircraft during the coming period.

    For his part, General Director of civil aviation Thanh (sourcing Centre for the Iraqi media network) that the Ministry is in the process of contracting with a French company for processing three high tech surveillance radar at a cost of 32 billion dinars to the monitoring and control of civil air traffic throughout the country.

    Bandar said that the company was recently hired for this monument radars in the three regions are the Western region, Mosul and Najaf, the Ministry had earlier erected two radars in Kirkuk and Basra.
