Women are like overcooked brisket---TOUGH!
Yep, that defines most of us. (With the exception of a few here and there.)
We step in and take over. Roll up our sleeves and get dirty. Dive headfirst into the deep end of the pool. Are not afraid to do what has to be done and can still drop it like it’s hot—BUT we might need help getting back up!
That’s the catch. Getting back up. After the “tough” wears off and reality hits, we realize we need HELP.
Oh yes, we could follow our feelings, but those often get us into deeper water real quick.
The toughest women hit their knees. They follow their faith, not their feelings. They choose to believe God’s promises and know he is always in control not them. They know God is good even when life is bad.
Tough women love Jesus.
