US press reports revealed Saudi plans to inject new investments in US infrastructure with a huge value of up to 40 billion US dollars.
The disclosure will be made during US President Donald Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia next week, the first foreign visit since he took office, the official Bloomberg news agency quoted an unnamed source as saying before the official announcement of the plan.
A White House official, who declined to be named, told the US network that all of the plans were still being studied, and that Trump and his brother-in-law Garrid Kouchner played a big and decisive role in coordinating the deal.
According to Bloomberg, the representative of the Saudi Public Investment Fund and the Saudi Ministry of Finance declined to comment on the reports.
