    Manufacturing industries suffer in Iraq from a large negligence whether in Ooacialh government sectors and even mixed, prompting specialists to the government required to pay importance to the vital sector and make it in the ranks of the important sectors that could yield the country's large financial imports.

    The industrial expert and former president of the Iraqi Federation of Industries, Hashim Atraqchi's «Journal News», on Thursday, said that "manufacturing industries in Iraq are almost active timidly in the government sector while the private sector is stopped by more than 70 percent."

    He added, "There are many obstacles have prevented the return of manufacturing industries in Iraq, as in the past, including the security situation, which cast a shadow over the whole joints of life in Iraq, in addition to the stifling financial crisis in the country and the accompanying austerity in exchange allocated to the projects amounts."

    He stressed that "the security crisis situation in some Iraqi provinces led to the difficulty of obtaining raw materials involved in the work of manufacturing industries including, Anbar desert, which is currently controlled by organizations (Daesh) terrorist, where the former is sand investment in the extraction of glass."

    He called Atraqchi with the support of the Iraqi private sector, which has suffered neglect for more than twenty years, where 90 percent of Iraqi industries stopped working and production since 1986 at a time when Iraq depends on the local industrial production by more than 85 percent. "
