Informed sources said on Sunday that the OPEC ministerial oversight committee and non-member producers may recommend a conditional ceiling on Nigerian and Libyan oil production on Monday.
"Nigeria is ready to impose a ceiling if it can maintain production stable at 1.8 million barrels per day for 90 days," Reuters quoted the sources as saying.
"It is believed that Libya can not maintain production at current levels of between 1 million and 1.1 million barrels per day," adding that "the Joint Ministerial Committee may consider deepening the cuts on Monday, but more studies are needed." Ending / 25
