Economy News _ Baghdad
Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said that OPEC and its allies from other major oil producing countries had discussed easing restrictions on crude production at the meeting in March.
OPEC and its allies, including Russia, decided this month to maintain restrictions on oil production until the end of March and deepen the supply cut to 1.7 million barrels per day to achieve a balance in the market.
Novak added that cooperation with OPEC will continue as long as it is effective and achieves results, as long as the market needs it.
