    Shafaq News / Kuwaiti public opinion newspaper confirmed on Saturday, that the volume of Kuwaiti investmentin various fields in Kurdistan region exceeded two billion dollars.
     
    The newspaper said in a report briefed by “Shafaq News” that “Gulf attendance has clear impact on Kurdistan, noting that Kuwaiti investments topped the scene”.

    It explained that as well as the participation of Kuwaiti companies in construction projects in the region , there are investments in oil and other areas, indicating that the latest statistics of the Kuwaiti investments says that it exceeded the limits of two billion dollars.

    The newspaper added that attempts by the Kurdish authorities to attract investors and tourists from the Gulf region in particular, and Arab and foreign countries as well, represented in the Regional Government to provide facilities are great for any person who wishes to buy a property in the three cities of Kurdistan, including the speed of getting visa entry and residence permits.

    It added that what encourages residence in Kurdistan is the availability of vital installations that have been built quickly and is one of the basic conditions for those looking for stability, in addition to stable security situation in this part of the Iraq.
