Shamkhani: America is running a preacher, not fighting it

The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani said on Tuesday that many documented reports that the US-led coalition is running a "da'ash" rather than fighting it, indicating that it did nothing in cases where it could have been suppressed, but helped to flee the squares.
"Today, America is pretending to stand up and avoid working with Hezbollah's agreement to remove the families of the terrorists in Syria to cover up the support that Daish has shown during these years," Shamkhani said in an interview with Al-Wifaq newspaper.
"What we have seen so far from America and its allies is bombing residential areas, killing women and children, targeting the positions of the Syrian army, popular mobilization and some limited operations that are ineffective, and in the meantime sending logistical assistance to terrorists," he said.
"The axis of the resistance, which includes Iran, Iraq, Syria and Hezbollah, is working today with sincerity, honesty, firm will, clear performance and a clear record of combating and eradicating terrorism, and defeating the terrorist groups to the brink of collapse," Shamkhani said. Ending / 25
