Economic Budget: 2018 budget depends on 89% of oil exports

The Economic Committee of the parliamentary, on Thursday, that the proportion of dependence on oil exports in the budget of 2018 will be 89%, after raising the ceiling of the investment budget and diversification of sources of funding.
Committee member Najeeb Najib said that "the budget of 2018, which is being prepared by the Ministry of Finance depends heavily on oil exports similar to previous years, but at a lower rate."
She added that "reliance on oil exports in the budget of 2018 up to 89% and the other on taxes, duties, customs and other resources," noting that "a characteristic of the budget of 2018 reduced many unnecessary expenses."
Najib expected "to approve the budget of 2018 before the end of this year or early next year."
