    [rtl]OPEC Secretary-General Mohamed Barkindo said "Middle East oil exports to the Asia-Pacific region will rise to 7.5 million bpd between 2016 and 2040 to boost growth in the emerging economies led by India and China.[/rtl]
    [rtl]"Exports will reach 22 million barrels per day from 14.5 million barrels per day during that period," Barkindo said at an oil conference held by Trend Press.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) met on Friday to agree on an extension of oil production cuts.[/rtl]
