The Ministry of Defense denied on Sunday the validity of statements attributed to the ministry reported that indicated the attempt of two pilots Cord robbing two fighters and landing in the Kurdistan Region.
The ministry said in a statement seen by Shafak News, it "denies what some media reported about the statements attributed to it on the pilots Kurdish."
The ministry added, "There is no truth to these statements," strongly warning any body that circulates such statements, and promised to "sue".
Local media had reported that the intelligence of the Ministry of Defense had thwarted a Kurdish-Israeli plan aimed at stealing two Iraqi "night-hunter" helicopters from the Taji base by two Kurdish pilots landing at the Peshmerga bases in the Kurdistan Region.
