BAGHDAD, Oct 7 (KUNA) - Iraq will cooperate with the Syrian forces to control the common border in the next stage, because the crowd is a fundamental pillar of the country's power, "said Faleh al-Fayyad, chairman of the Popular Gathering Organization.

Fayyad said in a meeting with French television that "the crowd is one of the pillars of the strength of the state and contributed to the liberation, leaving only the border with Syria in the province of Qaim," noting that "Iraq will cooperate with the Syrian forces regular to control the common border in the next phase."

"The Iraqi delegation led by Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi has taken a very positive attitude from France on the ongoing operations, the liberation operations and the performance of Iraqi forces in general," Fayyad said. AH
