Asiacell announced on Tuesday its position on the governmental procedures adopted with the mobile companies, pointing out its commitment to pay the license fees and taxes assessed, and confirmed its compliance with the laws and decisions issued by the competent government authorities in accordance with the law. 

An official source in Asiacell said in an interview with Alsumaria News that "the mobile phone companies under the law are organized by the Iraqi Information and Communications Commission," asserting "the granting of licenses to work for the three companies by the Information and Communication Commission and the level of Iraq free competition and all parties, High-level ministerial and specialized international consulting firms. "




"Asiacell was one of these companies, which pays taxes on income to the General Authority for Taxation," said the source, who asked not to be named. "Asiacell has so far paid about five trillion dinars to the state from license fees, taxes, various types and fees."
