[ltr][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]BAGHDAD - The Ministry of Education on Wednesday discussed a loan project launched by the World Bank for the rehabilitation and rehabilitation of schools damaged by terrorist attacks and the mechanism of disbursement in line with the start of the new academic year 2017/2018.
The special media office of the Minister of Education, Mohamed Iqbal, said that "a meeting was held in the Directorate of School Buildings for the directors of the school buildings and educational planning departments in the general directorate of education in Baghdad and a number of provinces (Anbar - Nineveh - Salahuddin - Kirkuk) The loan granted will include the reconstruction of more than 50 damaged schools, "he added." The schools that were nominated by the general directorates were also chosen to include this issue. The schools were divided into two parts: rehabilitation, rehabilitation and demolition and reconstruction. "
He stressed "the need to pay attention to heritage schools, which is a beacon of beacons of science in Iraq, and the possibility of inclusion within the world heritage and contact with international organizations on the possibility of restoration and preservation as an authentic heritage of Iraq."
