BAGHDAD / A member of the parliamentary legal committee, Alia Nassif, confirmed Sunday that the Social Insurance Law has reached the parliamentary finance committee and has not yet reached the legal committee, stressing that it has many observations on the law.

Nassif told "Iraq News" that "the law of social insurance, arrived at the Finance Committee did not reach the Legal Committee was not put on the agenda of Parliament," adding that "the law has many observations and will not pass in the Committee without making amendments to some paragraphs."

She added that "Parliament has initiated many laws to increase the salaries of education and teachers and judges, all commensurate with the level of effort in these sectors," indicating that "it is not possible to legislate a law and copies of legislation by another law."
