While the NASDAQ rose by more than 0.8% to record a record close at 6994.8 points, having exceeded the level of 7000 points for the first time during the session.
The US stock market also received a strong boost from corporate news, as Campbell revealed that it would acquire the $ 4.9 billion Snyder Lance.
In the same context, chocolate maker "Hershey" revealed an acquisition of "Ampley" for $ 12 per share. Oracle also revealed that it will buy Aconex for $ 1.2 billion.
