[ltr]Kuwait's Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah said that the donor conference for the reconstruction of Iraq, scheduled to be hosted by Kuwait early next year under the guidance of the Supreme Emir, "will witness a new direction and philosophy by involving the private sector in the reconstruction process."[/ltr]
[ltr]Al-Jarallah told reporters on the sidelines of a seminar organized by the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Institute on Kuwait's non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council for the years 2018-2019 that "the State of Kuwait has actively moved and coordinated with the World Bank as an active partner in reconstruction in various Regions of the world ".[/ltr]
[ltr]He explained that the conference will be chaired by five parties - the European Union, Iraq, Kuwait, the United Nations and the World Bank.[/ltr]
[ltr]He said that Kuwait had started its contacts with the World Bank through the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development to formulate the picture and the nature of this conference along with its articles and who would participate.[/ltr]
[ltr]He expressed his optimism that the Conference of the brothers in Iraq can overcome a difficult stage because of the destruction caused by the face of the so-called state organization (calling) terrorist.[/ltr]
[ltr]Al-Jarallah held a meeting at the level of foreign ministers of some 70 countries of the International Alliance to confront (Da'ash) during one of the days of the conference, indicating that this meeting is a continuation of previous conferences aimed at developing strategies and plans to counter terrorism in general.[/ltr]
