     Follow-up / Sky Press:

The Iranian government on Saturday demanded citizens not to participate in any "illegal" demonstrations.

Interior Minister Abdul Raza Rahmani Fadli urged demonstrators not to participate in "illegal gatherings" after two days of demonstrations against power and cost of living in twelve cities across the country, according to ISNA,

"We are asking the people not to participate in illegal gatherings, and until that time the police tried to manage illegal gatherings so there would be no problem," he said.

In a number of Iranian cities, including the capital, Tehran, for the third day in a row, protests against the price rises and the government's internal and external policies. Meanwhile, pro-government marches took place in the capital Tehran and several other Iranian cities.
