The Parliamentary Integrity Committee announced on Tuesday its intention to proceed with the abolition of the offices of the inspectors after the approval of the budget of 2018.

"The Integrity Committee has an agenda to resolve many issues during the last legislative term before the end of the current parliamentary session," member of the Integrity Committee Mohammad Kun said in a press statement.

"It is a priority to cancel the offices of public inspectors and open files of corruption in a number of ministries and complete the file of interrogations that began before the end of the legislative holiday."

He pointed out that "the Commission is determined to activate all interrogations and not to transfer any file to the next government to prevent the arrival of corrupt officials again in the next government."
