China declares its support for the two Koreas dialogue

Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed his country's support for South Korean and North Korean efforts to activate dialogue between them.
Xi Jinping's remarks came during his telephone conversation with his South Korean counterpart Mon Jinn, where the two sides discussed bilateral relations and the issue of the Korean Peninsula.
It should be noted that the joint talks between representatives of the two Koreas took place on January 9 at the border crossing "Panmunjom".
The talks touched on the participation of the North Korean delegation in the Pyongyang Olympics, and the resumption of the military communications line between the two countries.
The talks will resume inter-Korean dialogue, which ended in 2015 on the back of another crisis
