    [rtl]The Ministry of Industry and Minerals announced that the Economic Affairs Committee in the Council of Ministers and during its third session held on Tuesday to take new decisions to support the cement industry in Iraq and protect local production.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]"The committee has taken new decisions to support the cement industry in Iraq and protect the local products to add to the other resolutions supporting the Iraqi industry adopted by the committee during the last year," al-Sudani said .[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The Minister praised the role of the Economic Affairs Committee in the Council of Ministers and its constant readiness to support the industrial sector and reflect the sound direction of the Iraqi government to support this vital sector and the engine of the Iraqi economy, stressing the ministry's relentless efforts to keep pace with modernity and global development and diligence in order to reduce production costs In the companies and laboratories of the ministry, calling at the same time to more support for the operation of Iraqi companies and factories and make them productive and competitive in quality and specifications and price to meet the needs of state institutions and cover the need of the market Local .[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]Al-Sudani pointed out that "the Ministry of Industry and Minerals has more than (270) local producers, the ministry can secure the needs of state institutions and cover the need of the local market of these products, pointing out that" there are (43) protection decision in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Iraqi products, stressing the need to emphasize the application of the Law on the protection of Iraqi products No. (11) for the year 2010 as a law in force and applicable .[/rtl]
