[ltr]Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi and the leader of the Republican majority in the US House of Representatives, Kevin McCarthy, discussed Thursday in Davos the cooperation between the two countries and the situation in the region.[/ltr]
[ltr]"Abadi met in Davos, the leader of the Republican majority in the US House of Representatives, Kevin McCarthy," a statement from the Prime Minister's Office said.[/ltr]
[ltr]The statement added that "the meeting discussed cooperation between the two countries and the situation in the region and continued support for Iraq after the great victories achieved by the gangs of the terrorist."[/ltr]
[ltr]The Prime Minister, Haider Abadi, met earlier in the day, in Davos, a number of political figures and owners of major global companies.[/ltr]
