    The deputy governor of Basra province Tawfiq al-Kaabi, Thursday, that the deputies of the province will not vote on the budget unless the dollar is installed.
    "To date, no official invitation has been given by Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi to hold a meeting with the oil-producing provinces," al-Kaabi told the news agency.
    He added that "the provinces of oil-producing provinces will not vote on the budget unless their rights are confirmed by the petro-dollar."
    Al-Kaabi stressed that "the province suffers from a lack of infrastructure and the spread of cancer and the aggravation of salt water in the Shatt al-Arab," noting that "Basra's deputies are demanding time commitments and set the date of payment of benefits of Basra and oil-producing provinces."
