    Economy News Baghdad:

The Iraqi government wants $ 85 billion from 70 countries to participate in the Iraq reconstruction conference to be held in Kuwait on February 12 through loans, grants and investments granted by a number of foreign and Arab countries.

A source in the Iraqi government, who preferred not to disclose his name to "Economy News", "The Kuwait conference is not only to reconstruct the liberated areas, but specifically to reconstruct the Iraqi provinces in full," noting that "the conference turned to the ages of all provinces because of pressure exerted by the United Nations On the Iraqi government because the provinces of the south, specifically Basra, Dhi Qar and Muthanna witnessing a tragic reality. "

Abadi, whose term ends this year, hopes to leave power and has achieved success by bringing foreign and Arab investors to Iraq, starting with urban, industrial and service projects and removing the bleak picture of Iraqis living after 2003.

"The first day of the Kuwait conference is for organizations that will ease the humanitarian situation in Iraq, while the second day will be for companies jointly organized with the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry," the official said. The World Bank and Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development and the last day is reserved for heads of state. "

He stressed that "projects in the liberated areas will be part of the projects that will be put to the reconstruction of Iraq, which is not specialized in one sector, but important sectors such as agriculture, industry and others." There is great optimism about the Kuwait conference, which will contribute mainly to the reconstruction of Iraq.

Iraq's desire to transform the international military alliance into an international financial coalition involved in the reconstruction of liberated areas and contribute to the restoration of stability, with the refusal of many displaced people to return to their areas because of the lack of environment that attracts them after the destruction of their homes.

The financial adviser to the Prime Minister, the appearance of Mohammed Saleh, he felt that the Kuwait Conference will form an international financial alliance for the reconstruction of Iraq, similar to the International Military Alliance, which carried out air strikes against the organization and encouraged and contributed to crushing and expulsion from Iraqi territory.

"Iraq needs the world today, because it is a threat to them by ending the terrorist organization in its territory and preventing it from expanding to other countries. Therefore, the military alliance must be transformed into a financial alliance to support the reconstruction of Iraq," Saleh told The Economist News.

He stressed that "Kuwait conference aims to bring investors to Iraq through the establishment of projects to develop the infrastructure of the Iraqi economy, which will reflect positively on the lives of people," pointing out that "the Iraqi private sector should have a role in this aspect."

The provinces that were damaged by the organization called and destroyed the infrastructure look at the Kuwait Conference as a savior to end its suffering, and the return of its people from the tents.

"The province of Anbar, the percentage of destruction, 80%, and the House of Representatives declared that it is a disaster, while the government did not allocate funds for reconstruction, and therefore it needs 20 years to build 25% of the province.

He added that "in 2018 the government to allocate $ 1 billion for the reconstruction of 60 thousand homes completely destroyed and hospitals, schools and infrastructure for water and sewage," stressing that the investment opportunities offered by the government to rebuild Anbar is very weak and keep pace with the volume of destruction.

He pointed out that Anbar would rely on financial grants to be allocated by friendly countries such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait at the conference because it has become the poorest province in Iraq.

While economic analyst, Adel Adel, warned of the disaster that will be resolved in Iraq during the Kuwait conference because it will increase the debt currently amounting to 123 billion dollars.

"The Kuwait conference will increase the problems of Iraq because the government will grant large facilities at the expense of Iraq's sovereignty, as is happening now with the international oil companies operating in southern Iraq," Adel said, "The loans that Iraq will receive at the conference Kuwait will increase the volume of loans currently amounting to 123 billion dollars, which exceeded the red line, which amounts to more than 60% of GDP.

He pointed out that "Prime Minister Haider Abadi recently announced that international companies complain today of the bureaucracy and corruption rampant in the joints of the state, which does not encourage them to enter Iraq, which means that Iraq must make significant concessions that may threaten the security and sovereignty of the work of these companies.
