reported the Syrian newspaper "home", on Wednesday, that Syria and Iraq in connection with the resumption of trade movement through the gate of the Abu Kamal border - based, as quoted by the source as saying that the two sides will discuss the possibility of cooperation in the implementation of simultaneous operations on the border between the two sides.
The newspaper published a report in which there is evidence of the near resumption of the movement of commercial trucks through the crossing, pointing to the arrival of Syrian Interior Minister Mohammed al-Shaar to Iraq yesterday, on a two-day official visit during which he will meet with a number of Iraqi officials.
The newspaper "Al Watan" supported the press reports quoted by an official in the Iraqi Interior Ministry that "the slogan will meet with a number of Iraqi officials, including Prime Minister Haider Abadi to discuss several files, especially the border."
The source added that "the two sides will discuss the possibility of cooperation in the implementation of simultaneous operations on the border between the two countries."
