Diwaniyah Council: Investment of Shinafiyah refinery increases its imports by 100 billion annually

Between the Board of Diwaniyah province, Monday, that the investment of oil refinery Shinafiyah increases its annual revenues of 100 billion dinars, stressing the preparation of a plan to declare the refinery as an investment opportunity after obtaining approvals from the Ministry of Oil.
Council member Iyad al-Miyali said the government of Diwaniyah has prepared a plan and an extended study to announce the Shinafiyah oil refinery an investment opportunity for the giant international companies.
He added that "Diwaniyah opened the Ministry of Oil and got the approval of the Ministry to announce an investment opportunity under its supervision and laws in the investment of oil."
He said that "his announcement an investment opportunity increases the refinery's imports to 100 billion dinars annually and contribute to the development of the reality of the province."
The oil refinery is located in the outskirts of the province Diwaniya 250 km south of Baghdad and west of Najaf province.
