A senior Kurdish official said Saturday that the US-led coalition is building new military bases along the eastern Euphrates River as part of coordination with Syria's democratic forces to fight a terrorist organization.
"Yes, the international coalition is building new military bases in Manbij, and this is linked to the military plans," said Risan Gilo, co-chair of the defense committee in the northern region of the island, in a statement to the Russian news agency RIA Novosti.
