    [ltr]Baghdad Mawazine News[/ltr]
[ltr]Leading Iraqi figures cast their votes in the general elections on Saturday (June 12) inside the Rashid Hotel, where the national center is the fortified Green Zone where the Iraqi government is located. Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi is keen to cast his vote outside the Green Zone. Sadr's Muqtada al-Sadr in Najaf, as did Vice President Iyad Allawi.[/ltr]
[ltr]The election day entered its second half after the first hours of the morning the leaders of parties and political alliances to visit the ballot boxes, to vote, in an election that observers fear the participation rate will decline.[/ltr]
[ltr]Abadi is elected in Karrada and subject to inspection[/ltr]
[ltr]The Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, who voted in an electoral center in Baghdad's middle for girls in Karrada district, considered that the parliamentary elections that started this morning throughout Iraq will determine the future of the country, calling on Iraqis to the most receptive to these elections.[/ltr]
[ltr]"Elections are important and determine the future of Iraq and must be shared widely by Iraqis," Abadi told reporters after casting his vote.[/ltr]
[ltr]"The percentage of private voting is good," he said, pointing out that "there is a defect in some polling stations for the security forces, and we hope that some of them will be repaired today."[/ltr]

[ltr]Allawi stabbed and not elected in the good hotel[/ltr]
[ltr]"Today, Iraqis have a precious historic opportunity to reform things radically, to advance again, and to change the political situation in favor of the people," al-Abbadi said in a statement. Rather than what it is today of exclusion, marginalization, quotas, corruption, destruction, poverty and waste of dignity. "[/ltr]
[ltr]Allawi, whose wife and cousin Mohammed Allawi was unable to vote because of the loss of the ballot, revealed the registration of electoral ballots during the special ballot and the voting of Iraqi voters in Jordan and Turkey.[/ltr]
[ltr]Allawi said that "coalition" has submitted 45 appeals so far to the Electoral Commission, concerning violations in the private vote and the vote of Iraqis Jordan and Turkey. "[/ltr]
[ltr]"In Jordan, we recorded 15 violations and Turkey 2, and the rest were in Baghdad," he said.[/ltr]
[ltr]He added that "the blocks that claim to be trans-sectarian by the inclusion of two candidates of each component, is dedicated to sectarianism."[/ltr]
[ltr]Allawi continued: "I am confident that nationalism will bring good results unless elections are rigged, because they represent Iraq from the north to the south, where all segments of Iraqi society reject sectarianism and not transgressions of sectarianism."[/ltr]
[ltr]Allawi said, "If the elections in the House of Representatives represents the will of the people, the deputies of the blocks should go beyond the old formulas that made them prisoners of the heads of blocs."[/ltr]

[ltr]Sistani's representative talks about the effects of the boycott[/ltr]
[ltr]"It is true that the religious authority did not compel the citizens to participate, but the boycott will give an opportunity for those who are far from the people and the homeland to reach the seats of parliament," Sheikh Abdul Mahdi, the representative of the supreme religious authority, told the audience.[/ltr]
[ltr]He added that "the practical biography of the candidates can be identified by the qualified ones and the hope exists to deliver al-Safri to parliament and the government and to correct the course of state institutions."[/ltr]
    [ltr]Sadr calls for Mellonism[/ltr]

[ltr]Sadr also voted in a polling station in the holy city of Najaf and, while carrying the flag of Iraq, called on Iraqi citizens to take a reformist monarchy to the parliamentary elections, while warning against falsifying their results.
Sadr said in a speech after casting his vote in a school in Al-Hananah area in Najaf and followed by Mawazin News: "To get everyone to reform the Melonism until we change the situation in Iraq."
"We hope that the elections will be conducted transparently and smoothly without the interference of the parties and the losers as we move towards reform and change," he said.
He pointed out that "there are fears of fraud and the interference of parties and corrupt, and God willing, we will have a lookout"[/ltr]

[ltr]Iraqi leaders and politicians cast their votes in the Green Zone[/ltr]
[ltr]The Secretary General of the Badr Organization Hadi al-Amiri, has been named as a candidate among a number of candidates for prime minister, in the good hotel in the Green Zone.[/ltr]
[ltr]Amiri told reporters after voting in the elections that the electoral process is proceeding smoothly, stressing the need for voters to participate in the elections in order to exercise their right to peaceful and constitutional change, noting that today represents an opportunity to achieve this goal.[/ltr]
[ltr]"We do not want an Iraqi citizen who is not allowed to participate in elections because of the disruption of electronic equipment," he said.[/ltr]
[ltr]President Fuad Masum, a Kurd, and parliament speaker Salim al-Jubouri, Iraq's biggest Sunni politician, also voted in Baghdad.[/ltr]
[ltr]Hakim is also in the Green Zone[/ltr]
[ltr]Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National Alliance Shiite and head of the wisdom movement, on Saturday, called on the Electoral Commission to investigate information indicating the imposition of "pressure" on voters, forcing them to choose specific personalities.[/ltr]
[ltr]"We reject any fraud in the elections, and we call on the commission to scrutinize information indicating that there is pressure on the electorate and to force them to choose specific personalities," Hakim said after casting his vote at the Rashid Hotel for the election of political leaders in Baghdad.[/ltr]
[ltr]Hakim urged the young people to participate actively in the elections today for change, "stressing that" to refrain from participation means to keep the situation as it is. "[/ltr]
[ltr]"We want the next stage to exceed quotas under any political name," said Qais al-Khazali, general secretary of Asaib Ahl al-Haq.[/ltr]
[ltr]"Terrorism occupied Iraqi cities, but we were able to win them," he said.[/ltr]
[ltr]"We hope that the electoral process will come in a harmonious parliament, from which a strong government will emerge," said Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes,[/ltr]
[ltr]Iraqis began voting on Saturday morning to vote for their representatives in the House of Representatives, which in turn elects prime ministers and the republic.[/ltr]
[ltr]Also elected in the Green Zone, Vice President Nuri al-Maliki, and in his remarks after casting his voice criticized what he described as "practices condemned" and said, "We condemn the scandals and lies that seek to disrupt the elections."[/ltr]
[ltr]"Where did the document of honor that the forces signed before the elections went?" He asked.[/ltr]
[ltr]Maliki denied his withdrawal from the elections and stressed that he voted and is still a candidate and also confirmed the elections point articulated and I call voters not to vote contrary to their will.[/ltr]
[ltr]Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jubouri also voted in the Green Zone elections.[/ltr]
[ltr]Regardless of who the new parliament will choose as prime minister, it will face several challenges after a war against a three-year-old organization that has cost the country about $ 100 billion.[/ltr]
[ltr]The first polling stations were opened on the Karkh side of Baghdad.[/ltr]
[ltr]And opened 8959 polling stations with 55 thousand and 232 stations are open to voters at seven o'clock Baghdad time and continue until the sixth hour.[/ltr]
[ltr]In total, over 24 million Iraqis are eligible to vote in the elections out of about 37 million.[/ltr]
