The Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works announced on Monday the completion of more than 12 thousand housing units in the Basmaya residential project.
A statement issued by the ministry said that "the Department of Public Buildings and in coordination with the National Center for Engineering Consultations of the Ministry completed 12,480 housing units within the Basmaya residential project."
"The project is one of the largest and largest residential strategic projects in Iraq and the Middle East. The project is characterized by high specifications and technologies that match the international standards in modern construction. The project area is about 18,300,000 m2 with all infrastructure services in addition to schools, hospitals and kindergartens. Children and clinics ".
"The project is an integrated city that will be the first step to solve the problem of housing and within the project of establishing one million housing units throughout the country, which is implemented by Hanwa Engineering and Construction Company of Korea," the statement said.
