The leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Giyath al-Surji, on Sunday, the absence of any bloc close to the Union in the formation of the next government, indicating that the visit of the delegation of the Union to Baghdad was exploratory.
"The visit Mullah Bakhtiar last to Baghdad was the aim of poll views of the winning political blocs in addition to the recognition of their demands," he said, adding that "the Union did not specify the bloc that will join with it to form a government."
He added that "the union's basic demand for an alliance with any bloc or political alliance is the application of Article 140 in accordance with the Constitution and the law and by consensus."
