Zamili directs the introduction of the guest reform law into force
18/7/2018 12:00 am [rtl]Baghdad / Al-Sabah The Minister of Justice Haider Zamili, on Tuesday, to accelerate the introduction of the law reforming inmates and depositors into force in the next few days after the ratification of the Presidency of the Republic. Al-Zamili said in a statement received by Al-Sabah that "the law of reform of inmates and depositors number 14 for the year 2018 came to replace all laws and regulations for the management of inmates and former depositors, especially the law of reform of inmates and depositors No. 104 of 1981 and the decision of the Revolution Command Council (dissolved) On 25 May 1993 and Coalition Provisional Authority Memorandum No. 2 of 2003 and all orders of the Coalition Provisional Authority on the subject of the administration of inmates, detainees and detention centers . The minister added that "the law contained several amendments that keep pace with the procedures of the management of inmates and depositors and taking into account the improvement of the working conditions of the members of the reform departments and fix the entitlements of workers in these departments in terms of the allocation of risk as well as the allowance for livelihood." He noted that "one of the most important amendments to this law is And to link them to the Ministry of Justice, in line with the recommendations and international conventions and the need to unify the management of all prisons and Iraqi convictions and make them within the functions and management of the Ministry of Justice.
